Job summary

Trustbridge Hospice, part of Empath Health, is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide in-home care to patients across Palm Beach County, Florida. This per diem position runs 7:00am–3:30pm with weekend availability.

You will work under the guidance of an RN or LPN, assist with ADLs, ensure a clean, safe environment, and offer compassionate support to patients and families in their homes.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Florida.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect care to patients in home and community-based settings.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, mobility, and comfort measures.
• Support a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for each patient.
• Offer emotional support to patients and their families, fostering dignity and compassion at every interaction.

What You’ll Do

As a CNA on our hospice team, you will deliver high-quality, compassionate care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Provide direct and indirect care to patients in home and community-based settings

What You’ll Need

• Current license to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Florida.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Six months’ experience working in hospital or healthcare environment
• Requires ability to drive, a reliable car, a good driving record, automobile insurance and basic knowledge of the county territory.
• Must be able to fulfill assigned tasks effectively and efficiently.
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neat and clean in appearance.
