Job summary

Trustbridge Hospice, a member of Empath Health, seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide in-home care to patients across Palm Beach County on a PRN basis with weekend availability. Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are encouraged.

The role involves assisting with ADLs, maintaining a safe home, and providing emotional support to patients and families. Qualified candidates hold a Florida CNA license, BLS certification, and have at least six months of healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Florida.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Six months’ experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment.
• Requires the ability to drive, a reliable car, a good driving record, automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect care to patients in home and community-based settings.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, mobility, and comfort measures.
• Support a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for each patient.
• Offer emotional support to patients and their families, fostering dignity and compassion.
