Job summary

Trustbridge Hospice, part of Empath Health, seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver hands-on care for patients in their homes across Broward and Palm Beach counties. The role requires a Florida CNA license, BLS, and a willingness to travel; weekend shifts are included.

As part of a mission-driven team, you’ll provide ADL support, maintain a safe home environment, and offer emotional comfort to patients and families while collaborating with RN/LPN supervision.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Florida.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Six months’ experience working in hospital or healthcare environment.
• Requires ability to drive, a reliable car, a good driving record, automobile insurance and basic knowledge of the county territory.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect care to patients in home and community-based settings.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, mobility, and comfort measures.
• Support a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for each patient.
• Offer emotional support to patients and their families, fostering dignity and compassion at every interaction.

What you'll Do

As a CNA on our hospice team, you will deliver high-quality, compassionate care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
