Job summary

Empath Health's Trustbridge Hospice in Palm Beach County seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver in-home care to patients across the county. Per diem schedule with weekend availability and encouragement for bilingual English/Spanish candidates.

You will work under the supervision of an RN or LPN, assist with ADLs, support a clean, safe home environment, and provide emotional support to patients and families. The organization emphasizes Full Life Care and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Current Florida CNA license
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Six months’ experience in hospital or healthcare environment
• Ability to drive, reliable car, driving record, and automobile insurance

What you'll Do

As a CNA on our hospice team, you will deliver high-quality, compassionate care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Provide direct and indirect care to patients in home and community-based settings
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, mobility, and comfort measures
• Support a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for each patient
• Offer emotional support to patients and their families, fostering dignity and compassion at every interaction

What You'll Need

• Current license to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Florida.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Six months’ experience working in hospital or healthcare environment
• Requires ability to drive, a reliable car, a good driving record, automobile insurance and basic knowledge of the county territory.
• Must be able to fulfill assigned tasks effectively and efficiently.
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neat and clean in appearance.
