Job summary

Trustbridge Hospice is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide in-home care across Palm Beach County. The role follows a Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm schedule to support patients in their homes.

As part of Empath Health, you will work under RN/LPN supervision, delivering high-quality care, maintaining safety, and offering comfort to patients and families. Trustbridge emphasizes Full Life Care and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Florida.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS).
• Six months of experience in hospital or healthcare settings.
• Must be able to drive and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care in home and community settings.
• Assist patients with ADLs, mobility, and comfort measures.
• Provide a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for each patient.
• Offer emotional support to patients and families with dignity.

What you'll Do

As a CNA on our hospice team, you will deliver high-quality, compassionate care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Provide direct and indirect care to patients in home and community-based settings
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, mobility, and comfort measures
• Support a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for each patient
• Offer emotional support to patients and their families, fostering dignity and compassion at every interaction

What You'll Need

• Current license to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Florida.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Six months’ experience working in hospital or healthcare environment
• Requires ability to drive, a reliable car, a good driving record, automobile insurance and basic knowledge of the county territory.
• Must be able to fulfill assigned tasks effectively and efficiently.
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neat and clean in appearance.
