Qualifications

• 1 year of similar sales and marketing experience in the hospice industry is preferred.
• An enthusiasm for providing the best possible care to patients and their families.
• Strong relationship building skills and a competitive spirit.
• Ability to solve practical problems; interprets instructions.
• Ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing. Experience presenting to large groups a plus.
• Drive required with own vehicle and valid license; insurance coverage as required.
• Vision and manual dexterity to operate a computer and review data.

Responsibilities

• Meets with Hospice patients and family members to present services provided by hospice.
• Conducts on-site meetings and presentations to physicians, hospitals, and other professionals.
• Provides educational office visits relating to Hospice care for physicians on a regular basis.
• Cultivates and maintains relationships within the healthcare professional community.
• Generates new business through consumer marketing, customer service, lead follow-up, and community outreach.
• Responds to inquiries, phone/email leads for service in a timely manner.
• Develops new referral accounts and co-marketing with community partners.
• Maintains communication with clients, family members, executives, and referral providers.
• Documents results and reports progress during weekly team calls.
• Assists with compliance with federal, state, and agency regulations and standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Director of Sales.
