Job summary

Lighthouse Hospice seeks a Community Liaison/Marketer to connect Lighthouse Hospice Care with local communities. The role builds referral networks, educates providers and families, and promotes hospice programs and services to expand patient access.

The position requires strong communication, relationship-building, and marketing skills, with travel to Elgin, Schaumburg, Bartlett area as needed. A bachelor’s degree is preferred and a healthcare background is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills to explain hospice services to diverse audiences.
• Ability to deliver presentations and educate the community about hospice care.
• Proven ability to build trust with healthcare providers and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Identify community needs and develop referral networks to support patient admissions.
• Represent Lighthouse Hospice at community events, health fairs, and professional meetings.
• Educate healthcare professionals, patients, families, and community members about hospice services and eligibility.
• Foster relationships with physicians, hospitals, nursing facilities, and local organizations.
