Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a CNA Hospice Aide to provide compassionate, hands-on end-of-life care in alignment with the patient’s care plan. You will assist with daily living activities, promote comfort and dignity, and support the hospice care team.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, nutrition, homemaking, and documenting patient changes. Valid CNA certification and CPR are required; a driver’s license and reliable transportation are also needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance.
• Current state CNA certification/registration.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services to patients.
• Applies safety principles and proper body mechanics during tasks such as ambulation and transferring.
• Plans and prepares nutritious meals and assists with feeding.
• Performs homemaking and environmental services as assigned.
• Observes and reports changes in patient status to the nurse.
• Follows written instructions from a registered nurse.
