Job summary

Alamo Hospice in Waco, TX is seeking a Clinical Team Assistant to join a growing team and provide essential clinical records management in a compliant, patient‑focused environment.

You will support administrative record functions, ensure accuracy and confidentiality, and coordinate with the Clinical Supervisor for audits and policy adherence. This in-office role offers comprehensive benefits and strong growth potential within a respected hospice provider.

Qualifications

• Three years of clinical records management experience (prefer hospice care).
• Information systems knowledge required.
• Public relations and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily clinical records functions including establishing and implementing clinical records policies.
• Ensure clinical record systems are maintained in compliance with state, federal and other regulations.
• Maintain knowledge of state, federal, and other documentation regulations and serve as a resource.
• Protect all clinical records through control procedures for open and closed records.
• Protect confidentiality of patient and organization information through effective controls and supervision.
• Forward copies of clinical records to authorized users according to policy.
• Complete an administrative record audit after patient discharge and forward to Clinical Supervisor for audit.
