Job summary

Casa de la Luz East Valley, part of the LHC Group and Optum family, seeks a Clinical Director to support the Executive Director in clinical oversight of hospice services, ensuring compliant patient care and effective staff management.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, staff development, and collaboration with physicians to maintain high-quality end-of-life care. Strong leadership and operational oversight are essential.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Current Driver's License and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure hospice compliance with Medicare/Medicaid and private insurance requirements.
• Oversee day-to-day clinical operations and training.
• Supervise patient care activities for adherence to standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Coordinate with hospice physicians and community physicians to drive clinical excellence.
• Provide oversight of billing processes to ensure regulatory compliance and accurate patient care documentation.
• Oversee staffing, staff evaluations, and education for clinical staff.
