Job summary

Northern Arizona Hospice, part of the Optum family, seeks a Clinical Director to partner with the Executive Director in clinical oversight of hospice services in our Flagstaff area. Lead staff, ensure regulatory compliance, patient care plans, and maintain quality while optimizing agency performance.

Responsibilities include overseeing clinical operations, recruitment and staff development, collaboration with physicians, and ensuring billing accuracy and cost-effective care.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Current Driver's License and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• CPR certification preferred within 90 days of hire.
• 3+ years of experience in a hospice, home health, or health care service delivery system setting.
• 2+ years of healthcare leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day clinical operations and regulatory compliance for hospice services.
• Lead recruitment, supervision, and staff development of clinical personnel.
• Collaborate with hospice physicians and community physicians to ensure clinical excellence and quality of care.
• Ensure plan of care is followed and patient care meets regulatory standards.
• Oversee hospice billing processes to ensure compliance and accurate coding.
• Participate as needed in governing body meetings and quality assurance activities.
