Job summary

UnitedHealth Group, via Heart of Hospice (LHC Group), is seeking a Director of Clinical Operations Hospice to support executive oversight of clinical operations, patient care plans, and regulatory compliance. This role emphasizes leadership, education, and collaboration with physicians to maintain high-quality end-of-life care.

The position is full-time and based in the applicable state with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current Driver's License and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• 3+ years of experience in a hospice, home health, or other health care service delivery setting.
• 2+ years of healthcare leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee compliance with hospice regulations, laws and policies including Medicare/Medicaid.”
• Supervise staffing and ensure qualified hospice personnel are employed.
• Direct day-to-day clinical operations and education on regulatory standards.
• Monitor patient care to align with plans of care and professional practice standards.
• Collaborate with physicians to drive clinical excellence and patient outcomes.
• Oversee billing processes to reflect patient care and regulatory requirements.
