Job summary

Heart of Hospice, part of the LHC Group, is seeking a Clinical Director to support executive oversight of clinical services and provider patient care. You will ensure regulatory compliance, staff performance, and quality of care while aligning with the agency's philosophy and profitability goals.

You’ll lead day-to-day clinical operations, drive education, supervise staff, and partner with hospice physicians to deliver excellent end-of-life care.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in state of practice
• CPR certification required
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable vehicle or transportation

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with hospice regulations, policies, and Medicare/Medicaid requirements
• Oversee day-to-day clinical operations including training, regulatory compliance, and education
• Provide clinical supervision and oversight of patient care according to plan of care
• Work with physicians to drive clinical excellence for end-of-life care
• Recruit and retain qualified staff; conduct staff evaluations and education
• Monitor quality assurance and performance improvement activities
• Oversee infection control practices and incident investigations
• Assist with budgeting, financials, and cost management related to patient care
