Eden Health seeks a compassionate spiritual care professional to provide counseling and support to patients and families in a hospice context. The role emphasizes dignity, empathy, and collaboration with the care team to address spiritual needs and bereavement concerns.

Ideal candidates will hold a Master’s in ministry, counseling, or social work (or related hospice studies), have CPE training, and at least two years of post-education spiritual counseling experience.

Qualifications

• Education in Hospice philosophy of care, spiritual needs related to end-of-life care, loss, and bereavement.
• Master's Degree in ministry, counseling, or social work preferred.
• Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) training preferred.
• Two years or equivalent experience in spiritual counseling within the last three years preferred.
• Valid state driver's license and reliable automobile.

Responsabilités

• Provides spiritual counseling to meet the patient and family needs.
• Collaborates with IDG members in care plan development.
• Supports dignity of the dying patient.
• Assists with religious rituals and ceremonies as appropriate.
• Provides emotional support and guidance to families.
