Job summary

Ardencares in Tennessee seeks a compassionate Spiritual Counselor to join our hospice team. You will provide spiritual and emotional support to patients and families, as well as to members of the hospice care team.

The Spiritual Counselor offers guidance and presence throughout the end-of-life journey, assists families at the time of the patient's passing, and continues to provide bereavement support during the grieving process.

Qualifications

• Master of Divinity or an equivalent advanced degree.
• Clinical Pastoral Education or equivalent training.
• Ordination or endorsement/certification in a recognized denomination.

Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual and emotional support to patients and families.
• Support hospice care team and bereavement services.
• Offer guidance and presence throughout the end-of-life journey.
