Legacy Hospice, Inc. in Independence, MO is seeking a Branch Administrator – Registered Nurse (Hospice) to lead clinical and operational services at the local branch.

You will oversee staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive quality of care while supporting budgeting and performance goals. A leadership background in hospice nursing with active RN licensure is required or preferred depending on the candidate's qualifications.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of employment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing or related field (preferred).
• Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of hospice nursing experience.
• Minimum 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Pre-employment drug screening required, including marijuana testing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the branch.
• Lead, supervise, and support clinical and administrative staff.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards.
• Oversee quality assurance, documentation, and regulatory readiness.
• Participate in budgeting and achieve key performance goals.
• Provide clinical support, including RN Case Management when needed.
• Build relationships with community partners and referral sources.
