Trustbridge Hospice seeks a full-time Associate Medical Director to provide medical oversight for hospice patients across Palm Beach County, supporting home-based and facility care with two IDG teams and two IPUs in Jupiter and Palm Beach Gardens.

The role combines clinical leadership with hands-on care, requiring an MD/DO, Florida license, and at least 2 years of direct practice. Hospice/palliative certification is strongly preferred, with meaningful hospital privileges and DEA registration.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in hospice and/or palliative medicine preferred.
• Current Florida medical license to practice medicine.
• Minimum 2 years of recent active clinical practice.
• Hospital staff privileges at one or more hospitals desired.
• Current DEA registration and CPR certification required if patient-facing.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical direction for hospice patients, including care planning and symptom management.
• Serve as a clinical resource and educator for staff, patients, families and community physicians.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure patient-centered care.
• Oversee clinical visits and documentation for eligibility, recertification, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
