Job summary

GBMC HealthCare is seeking a compassionate Hospice Aide for the Gilchrist Center Stadium Place in Towson. Under RN supervision, provide direct patient care per the Plan of Care, including personal care, meals, safety and documentation.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and Maryland CNA registration, plus a valid driver’s license. Previous acute or home care experience is preferred, with opportunities to support patients and families in their final season of life.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Current CNA registration with Maryland Board of Nursing is required.
• Licensed driver with insured vehicle in good condition.
• Previous acute or home care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient personal care (bathing, grooming, hygiene) per Plan of Care.
• Assist with meals and feeding.
• Support safety and observation of skin integrity.
• Record vitals as ordered and report changes to RN.
• Assist with ambulation and range of motion as directed.
• Maintain clean and safe patient environment and assist with light laundry.
• Provide respite care to patient and family as appropriate.
