Job summary

St. Joseph Hospice in Conroe, TX is hiring a Hospice Aide CNA to provide compassionate personal care and homemaking assistance under state and federal regulations. As part of an interdisciplinary care team, you will support patients and families.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a formal certification training program or competency evaluation.
• Minimum of six (6) months’ work experience in a direct care setting.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Have dependable transportation, current driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with personal care and homemaking assistance in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Serve as an active member of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Communicate and follow up with supervisors and coworkers regarding patient needs, care, and concerns.
• Foster positive relationships with patients, families, and facility staff.
• Mileage reimbursement (adjusted for fuel price changes)
