Job summary

St. Joseph Hospice is hiring a Hospice Aide CNA in Conroe, TX. The role supports patients with personal care and homemaking, working as part of an interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient needs with supervisors and staff.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalency, completion of a formal certification program or driving tests, CPR, and reliable transportation with a valid license and auto insurance. Part-time hours and ESOP benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years old
• Completed High School or Equivalency Diploma
• Successful completion of a formal certification training program or a written skills test and competency evaluation
• Minimum of six (6) months’ work experience in a direct care setting
• Current CPR certification required
• Have dependable transportation, current driver’s license and auto insurance

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with personal care and homemaking assistance in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Serve as an active member of the interdisciplinary care team
• Communicate and follow up with supervisors and coworkers regarding patient needs, care, and concerns
• Foster positive relationships with patients, families, and facility staff
