Job summary

Compassus is seeking an Admissions RN to manage referrals from multiple sources, coordinate initial hospice assessments with the clinical team, and ensure accurate data entry into the EMR. The role emphasizes timely admissions and compliance with Medicare/state regulations.

Ideal candidates will have RN licensure, a minimum of 1 year RN experience, and preferably hospice experience, with strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Education to attain RN Licensure.
• 1 year Registered Nurse experience.
• Preferred 1 year Hospice experience.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes daily referrals to guarantee timely patient admission.
• Answers telephone calls promptly and courteously.
• Checks and follows up on referrals daily.
• Enters referral information, including medical and insurance information, into the EMR.
• Verifies physician orders and documents CTI information in EMR.
