Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prioritize daily referrals to guarantee timely patient admission.
• Answer calls promptly and courteously.
• Enter referral information into the EMR.
• Verify physician orders and document CTI information on referrals in EMR.
• Co-sign referrals for LVN/non-clinical staff.
• Coordinate with Insurance/Billing for reimbursement as needed.
• Communicate with Clinical team to assure coordination of services.
