Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Hospice Admission Registered Nurse (RN) to assess eligibility, explain services, and coordinate with the care team for patients entering hospice. You’ll support families and address initial needs in a home-based or clinic setting.

Two years of RN experience, a valid state license, and CPR/BLS certification are required. The role offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package to full-time teammates.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state you work.
• Two years of experience as a registered nurse, hospice experience preferred.
• Current driver’s license and CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Enable patients to spend quality time with loved ones by supporting activities they enjoy.
• Assess patients for hospice eligibility and explain services to patients and families.
• Collaborate with the inter-disciplinary team on initial plan of care and patient condition.
• Ensure all initial patient needs are addressed and documented.
