Job summary

Kona Medical Consulting seeks a Collaborating Physician in Michigan to provide oversight for a new hormone and wellness clinic in Birmingham. The role supports MEN'S and WOMEN'S health, weight management, and IV therapy, in collaboration with a Michigan-licensed NP.

The ideal candidate will guide clinical protocols, review lab results, and help establish safe, evidence-based care pathways, while ensuring regulatory compliance and effective patient care.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Michigan physician license.
• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology or related field.
• Experience with outpatient hormone therapy, wellness medicine, or related care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physician oversight and clinical collaboration per Michigan law.
• Collaborate with the Nurse Practitioner on patient care and treatment planning.
• Review laboratory findings and guide treatment plans and monitoring.
• Assist with prescribing within agreed scope and regulatory requirements.
• Help establish clinical protocols and pre-opening clinic procedures.
