Job summary

Kona Medical Consulting in Birmingham, Michigan seeks a Michigan-licensed physician to serve as Collaborating Physician for a hormone and wellness clinic. Part-time/contractual role with oversight of male/female hormone therapy, weight management, and IV therapies.

The physician will work with a Michigan-licensed NP to ensure safe, evidence-based care, review labs, and guide treatment plans within state regulations. Experience in outpatient care and counseling is valued.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Michigan physician license.
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in relevant specialty (Family/ Internal / Endocrinology).
• Experience in outpatient medicine and hormone/wellness care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physician oversight and clinical collaboration per Michigan law.
• Collaborate with the Nurse Practitioner on patient care and treatment planning.
• Be available for consultation on complex cases and questions.
• Review labs and contribute to treatment plans and monitoring.
