Job summary

Kona Medical Consulting seeks a Michigan-licensed physician to serve as Collaborating Physician for a new hormone and wellness clinic in Birmingham. The clinician will provide medical oversight for men's hormone therapy, women's health, menopause care, weight management, and IV therapy, in partnership with a Michigan-licensed NP to ensure evidence-based patient care.

The role emphasizes clinical guidance, review of labs, and development of treatment plans within Michigan law and clinic

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Michigan physician license.
• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, or related field.
• Current professional liability coverage.
• Experience in outpatient medicine, hormone therapy, or wellness medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physician oversight and clinical collaboration per Michigan law.
• Collaborate with the Nurse Practitioner on patient care and treatment planning.
• Review laboratory results and guide treatment decisions.
• Ensure prescribing practices comply with regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to development of clinic protocols before opening and ongoing guidance.
