Kona Medical Consulting seeks a Collaborating Physician for a Birmingham, Michigan hormone and wellness clinic. This part-time/contractual role involves clinical oversight, hormone management guidance, and collaboration with a Michigan-licensed NP to safely treat patients.

Ideal candidates have Michigan licensure, MD/DO, andBoard certification in relevant fields, with outpatient experience and knowledge of hormone therapies and lab monitoring.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Michigan physician license.
• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, or related field.
• Current professional liability coverage.
• Experience in outpatient medicine, hormone therapy, or wellness care preferred.
• Familiarity with testosterone prescribing and lab monitoring is an advantage.
• Strong clinical judgment and willingness to collaborate with a Nurse Practitioner.

Responsibilities

• Provide physician oversight and clinical collaboration per Michigan law and standards.
• Collaborate with the Nurse Practitioner on patient care, clinical decisions, and treatment planning.
• Be available for professional consultation on complex cases and patient concerns.
• Support chart review, documentation, and patient safety practices.
• Ensure prescribing compliance and monitoring for testosterone and other medications.
