Job summary

California State University, Stanislaus in Turlock is seeking a Student Assistant under the Federal Work Study program. This temporary, part-time, on-site position will support the University Honors Program with general administrative tasks.

Responsibilities include preparing materials for Honors events, assisting with event setup and check-in, maintaining student records and program files, supporting outreach to current and prospective Honors students, and performing basic data entry.

Qualifications

• Undergrad students must be enrolled in a minimum of six Fall/Spring units.
• Must have received and accepted Financial Aid for the current term.

Responsibilities

• Provide general administrative support for the University Honors Program.
• Assist with preparing materials for Honors events, workshops, orientations, and student activities.
• Help with event setup, check-in, cleanup, and other event-related tasks; create and update flyers and presentations.
• Assist with maintaining student records, spreadsheets, and program files.
• Support outreach and communication with current and prospective Honors students.
• Help organize and maintain the Honors Program office and shared spaces.
• Make copies, scan documents, assemble packets, and complete basic data entry.
• Assist with inventorying and organizing program supplies and materials.
