Job summary

CSU Stanislaus is seeking a temporary student assistant in the English department for a federal work-study position. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, answering phones, routing inquiries, mail distribution, basic tech troubleshooting, and maintaining office supplies. Must be an undergraduate enrolled student with eligible Financial Aid for the current term.

Position is part-time, hourly, and located in Stanislaus - Turlock. Schedule typically between 8:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
• Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for the current semester/year in which you are applying.

Responsibilities

• Assist with communication and greeting visitors; route telephone inquiries to the appropriate person and take messages.
• Retrieve and sort incoming mail and distribute; make on-campus deliveries.
• Basic troubleshooting with technology (printers, computers, copy machines, etc.).
• Maintain office supplies inventory.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
