Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a friendly Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service. You will assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center, dispatch and return equipment using U-Scan technology, and help move and hook up trucks and trailers.

The role involves inspecting equipment, answering questions, and providing on-the-job education. A valid driver's license and a high school diploma are required, with on-the-job training offered.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including checking fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
