Job summary

South Middlesex Opportunity Council, Inc. is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Family Self Sufficiency program in Framingham, MA. The role focuses on recruiting participants, providing case management, and guiding home buying counseling to prepare participants for permanent homeownership.

You will manage a caseload, develop service plans, track escrow activities, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver HUD-compliant services and educational workshops.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Human Services preferred or equivalent.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Ability to meet deadlines and keep accurate records.
• Experience leading small groups and public speaking.
• Proficiency with Windows and MS Office suite; HUD/MRI familiarity a plus.

Responsibilities

• Recruit eligible participants and enroll in FSS program.
• Conduct intake and develop service plans with goals.
• Maintain caseload of 50–60 participants; provide ongoing case management.
• Generate monthly/quarterly/annual reports and newsletters.
• Collaborate with partners to deliver home ownership counseling and workshops.
• Ensure compliance with HUD/DHCD requirements and HIPAA/privacy rules.
• Utilize MRI Tenmast and related systems for data entry and reporting.
• Attend trainings and coordinate scheduling with program manager.
