Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Tulare, CA is hiring a Pediatric Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to care for a child patient who depends on a G-tube, trach, and ventilator. You will also attend school with the patient. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, providing skilled nursing care per orders, assessing changes in condition, and documenting data. Must lift over 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must have LVN license with over one year of experience.
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs.

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders

• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.

• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

• Must be able to lift over 50 lbs.
