Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Clovis, CA is hiring a Pediatric Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to support a child patient dependent on a G-tube. Female nurse is preferred. Schedule is Monday through Friday, with shift hours from 10:00 PM to 06:00 AM.

Candidates must have a valid LVN license and at least 1 year of nursing experience. Pay is $30 per hour. Responsibilities include implementing the nursing plan, assessing changes in patient condition, and documenting clinical data.

Qualifications

• Must hold an LVN license and have over 1 year of nursing experience.
• Experience with pediatric patients and G-tube dependent child preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using nursing process.
• Provide skilled nursing services per prescribed orders.
• Monitor patient condition and document clinical data.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Must be able to lift over 50 lbs.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
• Must be able to lift over 50 lbs.
