Maxim Healthcare in Merced, CA is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to care for a pediatric patient dependent on a G-tube, trach, and ventilator. The position requires an LVN license and more than one year of nursing experience, with shifts scheduled Friday through Sunday from 7:30 PM to 7:30 AM.

You will perform nursing assessments, deliver planned care, monitor respiratory support, and document changes, while safely lifting patients up to 50 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have LVN license with over 1 year of experience.
• Experience caring for pediatric patients using G-tube/trach/ventilator.
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
• Must be able to lift over 50 lbs.
