Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Los Banos, CA is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to care for an adult patient dependent on G tube, Trach and Ventilator. This is a temporary position with an anticipated start date in November.

Applicants must hold a California LVN license and have over one year of nursing experience. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and provides pay at $40 per hour plus standard Maxim benefits.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
• Must be able to lift over 50 lbs.
