Job summary

Clayton Homes is seeking a Home Consultant in Beloit, WI to guide customers through selecting floor plans, options, and coordinating the home-building journey. You will present display homes, demonstrate features and benefits, and manage appointments to drive traffic and sales while maintaining CRM-driven follow-up with prospects.

The role offers a $50k base salary plus commission, with unlimited earning potential.

Qualifications

6 months of relationship-driven sales preferred.
General understanding of the retail environment.
Ability to obtain manufactured home sales licensing.
Learn and comply with legal requirements that apply to the sale of manufactured homes.
Strong verbal communication skills.
Ability to excel and contribute to a team environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work required schedule, including Saturdays.
Professional demeanor and appearance.
Ability to walk the lot and show homes throughout all seasons.
Ability to move and lift furniture, promotional items, etc. (up to 75 lbs).
Subject to criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Create a world-class home buying experience by guiding customers to identify a floor plan and options and coordinating construction.
Identify a floor plan, select options, and coordinate the construction process.
Set appointments and convert ad calls and web leads to visits to the home center.
Demonstrate features and benefits of display homes to create added value.
Maintain customer files and provide timely follow-up using the CRM system.
