Job summary

Clayton is seeking a Home Consultant to create a world-class home buying experience by guiding customers through floor plans, options, and coordinating construction. You will set appointments, demonstrate model homes, and follow up with prospects using our CRM.

A strong team player with retail savvy and the ability to work Saturdays will thrive in this role. The position offers a $50k base salary plus lucrative commissions, with full-time benefits including health, dental, vision options, 401K

Qualifications

• 6+ months of relationship-driven B2C sales preferred.
• General understanding of the retail environment.
• Ability to obtain appropriate manufactured home sales licensing.
• Learn and comply with legal requirements that apply to the sale of manufactured homes.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to excel and contribute to a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work required schedule, including Saturdays.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Ability to walk the lot and show homes throughout all seasons.
• Ability to move and lift furniture, promotional items, etc. (up to 75 lbs.)
• Subject to criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Create a world-class home buying experience by guiding customers to identify a floor plan and options.
• Set home center visits using the prospect database and by converting ad calls and web leads to appointments.
• Demonstrate features and benefits of display homes to create added value for potential buyers.
• Maintain customer files and provide timely follow-up with prospective buyers via the company’s CRM system.
• Assist manager with merchandising, decorating models and maintaining appearance of the homes.
• Develop and execute a strategic sales and marketing plan to increase home center traffic.
