Job summary

Accendra Health is hiring a Respiratory Therapist to perform home visits, set up oxygen and ventilation equipment, and educate patients and caregivers. The role combines in-branch coordination with field-based care across a defined service area, requiring travel and strong patient engagement.

Applicants must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist with MN licensure (WI/IA license a plus), and demonstrate comfort with mobile documentation tools.

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist with MN license or eligible for MN licensure.
• Driver's license and ability to drive to patient homes within the service area.
• Comfortable using tablets/phones for documentation and care planning.

Responsibilities

• Perform home visits to set up oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment.
• Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Assess patient needs and document care; escalate concerns when needed.
• Coordinate with physicians, case managers, and branch teams.
• Set up and operate a range of respiratory care equipment; inspect for proper function.
