Job summary

Accendra Health, Inc. seeks a Respiratory Therapist for our Roselle, NJ site. This on-site role involves conducting home care or community-based respiratory support, including oxygen and ventilation equipment setups, with ongoing patient follow-up.

You will educate patients and caregivers, assess needs, document care, and coordinate with physicians. The ideal candidate holds an NJ RT license and CPR certification and can work with mobile documentation tools.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current NJ RT license to practice in the state.
• CPR certification is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.

Responsibilities

• Perform oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP and ventilation equipment setups and follow-ups.
• Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use, cleaning and troubleshooting.
• Assess patient needs and document care delivered; escalate concerns when needed.
• Respond to discharge requests and support patient needs in coordination with physicians and case managers.
• Maintain accurate documentation using mobile devices; operate respiratory equipment safely.
