Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist / Nurse to join a growing team and support home medical equipment setup, including ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP units, and related devices.

The role includes educating patients on proper device usage, testing and maintaining equipment, and documenting patient information in compliance with standards. On-call responsibilities may apply based on center needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in educating patients on device usage is preferred.
• Ability to set up and troubleshoot home medical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and educate patients on CPAP/BiPAP machines, ventilators, oxygen concentrators, and related devices.
• Inspect, test, and adjust equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Review patient information and prescribe appropriate treatment per physician orders.
• Maintain complete and organized patient records in line with accreditation standards.
• Maintain current knowledge of home respiratory care techniques and related concepts.
• Work on-call after hours and weekends as needed, depending on center size and staff available.
