Job summary

Lincare Holdings, Inc. in Omaha, NE is seeking a Respiratory Therapist / Nurse to join our team that sets up home medical equipment including ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP units and other devices, and educates patients on proper usage.

You will travel to patient homes, inspect devices, maintain records, and stay current with pulmonary care knowledge. On-call after hours and weekends may be required depending on center size.

Qualifications

• Must hold current state and/or national licensure as appropriate.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with home care equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and educate patients on CPAP/BiPAP and other home equipment.
• Inspect and test devices to ensure safe operation.
• Review prescriptions and patient data to plan treatment per orders.
• Maintain complete patient records per accreditation standards.
• Provide after-hours on-call support as required.
