Job summary

Lincare Holdings Inc. is seeking a Respiratory Therapist / Nurse to join our team in Dalton, GA.

This role involves setting up home medical equipment such as CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, nebulizers, and oxygen concentrators, educating patients on proper usage, and ensuring safe operation of devices. The candidate will review prescriptions, maintain patient records per accreditation standards, and stay current with respiratory homecare techniques.

Qualifications

• CRTs and/or RRTs required (state licensure)
• Pulmonary function knowledge and pulmonary rehabilitation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Computer literate with MS Office proficiency

Responsibilities

• Set up and educate on home medical equipment (CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, nebulizers, oxygen concentrators)
• Inspect and test equipment for safe operation
• Review prescriptions and patient information to determine appropriate treatment
• Maintain complete patient records following accreditation standards
• Keep up-to-date with respiratory homecare techniques
• On-call after hours and weekends as needed (shift frequency based on center size)
