Job summary

Lincare Holdings is seeking a Respiratory Therapist / Nurse to join our team in Georgia. The role involves setting up home medical equipment, educating patients on usage, and ensuring safe operation of CPAP/BiPAP units, nebulizers, oxygen concentrators, and ventilators.

The position requires maintaining patient records, staying current on respiratory care techniques, and may include on-call duties after hours and weekends depending on center needs.

Qualifications

• CRTs or RRTs qualify for this position.
• Other clinicians such as RN, LPN, LVN, paramedics, EMTs may also qualify depending on state rules.
• Must be licensed or certified by the state or national board governing practice.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and educate on home medical equipment (CPAP/BiPAP, nebulizers, oxygen concentrators, ventilators).
• Inspect, test, and adjust equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Review prescriptions and patient information to determine appropriate treatment per physician orders.
• Maintain complete patient records in compliance with accreditation standards.
• Maintain current knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and concepts.
• Be available for on‑call after hours and weekends as needed.
