Job summary

Lincare is seeking a field-based technician to perform equipment setups in patients' homes, delivering timely, professional service for ventilators, monitors, CPAP units and other oxygen equipment. You will provide technical assistance, review prescriptions, and educate patients while maintaining accurate records.

The role requires driving to patient locations with a valid license and includes on-call evenings/weekends based on center needs. Strong knowledge of respiratory homecare is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires use of a personal vehicle with a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient education as part of patient care according to Lincare policy.
• Performs complete and professional patient assessments in accordance with Lincare policies.
• Maintains knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and relevant respiratory therapy concepts.
• Follows Safety & Regulatory Manual policies including OSHA, DOT, FDA and Emergency Planning.
• Represents Lincare through professional appearance, patient care activities, and written reports.
• Facilitates prescription collection.
• Maintains patient records per accreditation standards.
• Works on-call evenings and weekends as scheduled.
