Job summary

You will educate patients, assess needs, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory policies while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Level 2 requires minimum two years in home healthcare.
• Level 3 requires minimum three years in home healthcare; may involve training other Healthcare Specialists.
• CRTs and RRTs may be required depending on state requirements and national board credentials.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient education as an integral part of patient care.
• Performs complete and professional patient assessments.
• Maintains knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and related concepts.
• Follows Safety & Regulatory Manual policies (OSHA, DOT, FDA, Emergency Planning).
• Represents Lincare with professional appearance and documentation of care.
• Maintains patient records in compliance with accreditation standards.
• On-call evenings and weekends as scheduled.
