Job summary

Lincare seeks a technically skilled professional to set up homecare equipment including ventilators, monitors, and CPAP units. You will educate patients, perform assessments, and maintain records in line with Lincare policies.

Applicants should have progressive home healthcare experience, valid driver's license, and be comfortable working in patients' homes. On-call duties evenings and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Level 1 - Familiar with equipment and services provided in the home healthcare setting, or other patient care, Required
• Level 2 - Minimum of two years in home healthcare, Required
• Level 3 - Minimum of three years in home healthcare; may be involved in training of other Healthcare Specialists, Required
• Must have completed all training/education required to obtain requisite certification, registration, and/or license
• CRTs and RRTs are qualified for this position
• Subject to state requirements, other clinicians may be qualified by state law

Responsibilities

• Performs equipment setups for ventilators, monitors, and CPAP units in homes or facilities
• Provide technical assistance with equipment and educate patients
• Conduct complete patient assessments and maintain records per policy
• Follow Safety, OSHA, DOT, FDA guidelines and ensure proper PPE usage
• On-call evenings and weekends as scheduled
