Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist / Nurse to join a growing team. You will set up home medical equipment such as CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, and oxygen concentrators, and educate patients on proper usage.

Responsibilities include testing equipment, reviewing prescriptions, and maintaining patient records in a compliant manner. Qualifications include CRT/RRT certification or equivalent licensing, and the ability to travel using a personal vehicle.

Qualifications

• Must maintain applicable state/national clinical license or certification.
• Frontline clinical qualifications accepted across states referenced.
• Ability to travel to patients with a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Set up and educate patients on home medical equipment including CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, and oxygen concentrators.
• Inspect and test equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation and review patient information for appropriate treatment.
• Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with accreditation standards.
• Remain current on respiratory homecare techniques and concepts; provide after-hours on-call support as needed.
