Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Respiratory Support Coordinator to deliver comprehensive patient care across home, office, and hospital settings. You will ensure timely delivery of equipment and services while mentoring teammates and maintaining compliance with HIPAA and company policies.

The role requires handling PAP setup, follow-up, basic repairs, and coordination with care teams to optimize outcomes and reimbursements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Related experience in Medicare certified HME environment that bills insurance.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy or DME services preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license from state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Respiratory Department Staff to provide equipment instruction and troubleshooting for respiratory patients.
• Set up and fit PAP patients with equipment and masks, communicating instructions clearly.
• Conduct patient follow-up calls and visits to ensure optimal care outcomes and involve clinical support for urgent needs.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and simple repairs per policy and manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and complete required paperwork and documentation.
• Develop basic reimbursement knowledge to ensure proper billing documentation.
• Promote adherence to PPE, infection control, and safety procedures.
