Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Respiratory Support Coordinator to deliver comprehensive patient care across home, office, and hospital settings. You will serve as a subject matter expert, conduct new hire training, and mentor team members while ensuring efficient access to required respiratory goods and services.

You will work with CPAP/BIPAP program managers and operations to support patients, perform equipment setup, and maintain documentation in compliance with HIPAA and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in Medicare certified HME environments desirable.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy or DME services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Respiratory Department staff to provide equipment instruction, service, and troubleshooting for respiratory patients.
• Set up and fit PAP patients with appropriate equipment and masks.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and repairs per policy and manufacturer guidelines.
• Document delivery tickets, safety checklists, and patient paperwork accurately and timely.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality.
• Promote services and products to referral sources when appropriate.
