Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Respiratory Support Coordinator to deliver comprehensive patient care across home, office, and hospital settings. You will collaborate with the Respiratory Department and Program Managers to ensure efficient service delivery and accuracy in documentation.

The role includes leading and mentoring team members, conducting new hire training, and addressing complex issues with follow-up. Travel to service areas is required as part of patient care and equipment setup.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license from state of residence.
• Knowledge of Medicare/HME billing environments preferred.
• Experience in Medicare certified HME environment that bills insurance is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Respiratory Department staff and managers to provide equipment instruction, service, and troubleshooting for respiratory patients.
• Set up and fit PAP patients with appropriate equipment and masks.
• Conduct patient follow-up calls and visits to ensure optimal care outcomes.
• Communicate instructions and processes to patients in a professional manner.
• Contact clinical support when urgent patient needs are identified during home visits.
